On July 2 2019 there will be a Total Solar Eclipse visible in Argentina. Leave the city of Buenos Aires for a magical and surreal afternoon. Come and join us in this unique experience!
We will leave the city of Buenos Aires at noon.
We’ll drive to Ranchos, in General Las Heras to Virginia’s property where NASA assured the Total Solar Eclipse will be viewed with 100% obscurity.
On our way we will start sharing with you precious information about the incredible event of the day. A discussion on the eclipse...Scientific facts, astrologists’ sayings inviting you to get warmed up into the Eclipse vibe.
When arriving we will have a delicious “picada” of Argentine’s local cold cuts paired with exquisite wine from Mendoza to pay homage to our land and its produce while taking in the peacefulness and green of the Argentine countryside. Home cooked empanadas by a sweet local lady for all and stories will be center stage while we wait for the phenomenon to begin.
Typical and savoury “local” desert and coffee for those who wish. The best of Argentinian Folk music will be playing during our whole escapade. We shall even have a bonfire to accompany us both symbolically and for warmth while sharing some mate's.
We will then relax a little more (even practise a short meditation for those willing) while waiting for the Total Solar Eclipse to happen (it starts at 4:24 PM). Once the Moon stepped out of the Sun, after we have had a mesmerising and unforgettable experience, we will slowly and happily drive back to the city (arriving around 9pm in Buenos Aires).
You can now sit and wait for December 2020 in Patagonia and 2048 in South America for the next Total Solar Eclipses to take place in Argentina.
You have been a witness to this one! Hurray!
